Apsara Communications Terms and Conditions — your rights and obligations as a customer of our internet services.

Acceptance of Terms

By subscribing to, accessing, or using the services of Apsara Communications ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("Customer" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately.

Services Provided

Apsara Communications provides broadband internet services (wired/fiber) to residential and commercial customers. The specific speed, data limits, and features of your connection are defined in the plan you have subscribed to.

Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to subscribe to our services.
  • You must provide accurate KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN, or equivalent) as required by DoT regulations. Providing false information may result in immediate termination of services.
  • One connection per registered address may be permitted under a single KYC, subject to technical feasibility.

Billing & Payments

  • Services are provided on a prepaid basis. Your plan is activated upon receipt of payment.
  • Plan validity and data limits are displayed on the plan details screen in the app and on our website.
  • Payments can be made online through our mobile application using UPI, net banking, or debit/credit cards via authorised payment gateways.
  • All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise.
  • Refund Policy: Payments are non-refundable once a plan is activated, except in cases of service failure attributable to us, subject to our refund process. Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of the issue.
  • We reserve the right to revise plan pricing with 30 days prior notice.

Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

Certain plans are subject to a Fair Usage Policy. After consuming the high-speed data limit specified in your plan, speeds may be reduced to a lower speed for the remainder of the billing cycle. No additional charges apply unless you choose to upgrade or purchase an add-on pack.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use our services to:

  • Engage in any illegal activity under Indian law, including but not limited to hacking, phishing, or distributing illegal content.
  • Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful software.
  • Violate intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Resell, redistribute, or share our internet connection commercially without prior written permission.
  • Engage in activities that degrade network performance for other users.

Violation of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination of your connection without refund.

Service Availability & SLA

  • We strive to maintain 99% uptime on our network. Planned maintenance will be notified in advance.
  • Outages caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, government orders, power failures) are excluded from SLA calculations.
  • For service faults, our target resolution time is 24–48 hours from complaint registration during business days.
  • Complaints can be raised via our mobile app, customer support number, or email.

Equipment & Infrastructure

  • Equipment installed at your premises (ONT/router, splitters, cables) remains the property of Apsara Communications unless sold to you explicitly.
  • You are responsible for the safekeeping of installed equipment. Damage due to misuse, negligence, or tampering will be charged to you.
  • On termination of services, company-owned equipment must be returned in working condition.

Mobile Application Terms

  • The Apsara Communications mobile application is provided to customers for account management, bill viewing, payment, and support.
  • You must keep your login credentials confidential. Report any unauthorised access immediately.
  • The app is provided "as is". We are not liable for interruptions caused by device incompatibility, OS updates, or network conditions.
  • Updates to the app may be required to continue using all features. We recommend enabling automatic updates.

Suspension & Termination

  • By Customer: You may request termination of services at any time by contacting our support team. Notice of at least 7 days is appreciated.
  • By Company: We may suspend or terminate your connection for non-payment (after 7 days grace period), violation of these terms, or on order from regulatory/law enforcement authorities.
  • Upon termination, any unused prepaid balance is non-refundable unless mandated by applicable consumer protection regulations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Apsara Communications shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use our services.
  • Loss of data, business, or revenue caused by service interruptions.
  • Security incidents resulting from the customer's own equipment or actions.

Our total liability to you in any event shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the preceding one month.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Palasa, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh, India, and shall comply with the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations and applicable consumer protection laws.

Customers may also escalate complaints to TRAI or the relevant Telecom Consumer Complaint Redressal Forum (TDSAT).

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website and app with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
